This article discusses the certificates you receive when you complete learning paths. Certificates are included in all plans at no additional cost. You must complete the learning path while you have an active subscription to earn a certificate, but you can download the certificate regardless of whether your subscription is active.

What Is a Certificate
A certificate is proof that you completed a learning path in Cloud Academy. Certificates are a great way to show your skills, demonstrate your knowledge, and build your credibility when you include them in your resume and LinkedIn profile. Below is an example of a certificate.
Note: The number of continuing professional education (CPE) credits appears only in enterprise accounts that have been configured to calculate them.
After you download your certificate, it appears on the Certifications tab on the dashboard.
How to Download a Certificate
You must have already completed a learning path before a certificate is available to download. When you complete a learning path, you may receive an email with a link to download your certificate directly. You can also use these steps to download the certificate:
- From the dashboard, click Completed Content.
A list of all the content you have completed appears, including learning paths, labs, exams, and courses.
- Click the learning path whose certificate you want to download to open it. Note: Certificates are available for learning paths only. The following steps won't work if you choose something here that isn't a learning path.
The overview screen for the completed learning path appears.
- Click the Download Certificate button.
A new tab opens in your browser containing the certificate. From here you can use the PDF viewer to print or download the file.
Tip: Click Add to Profile from the lower right corner of this screen to open the Add licenses & certifications window in your LinkedIn profile.
