This document discusses quizzes in Cloud Academy. Quizzes are available in individual and enterprise accounts.
What Is a Quiz
A quiz is a tool that checks your knowledge of a small subject area within a larger topic. A quiz has a maximum of five questions. Multiple quizzes might appear in the course of a learning path to help you make sure you're retaining the information. You can also find quizzes in the training library.
When you start a quiz from the training library, you can choose either study or test mode. In study mode, the questions have no timer and you see an explanation of each questions before or after you answer it. You can choose the level of difficulty, and your performance on the quiz does not affect your Skill Profile.
If you choose test mode, each question has a four-minute timer and the system sets the level of difficulty based on your current skill level in the topic. Question explanations are not available and your performance on the quiz affects your skill score.
Tip: Quizzes that you start as part of a learning path are always in test mode.
At the end of a quiz in test mode, you see the Answers to the questions, starting with the Wrong answers. You can switch to the Correct tab to see your correct answers. You can change from the Answer tab to the Progress tab to see your Skill Profile. Check this article for information about how Skill Profile scoring works.
Tip: If you start a quiz in test mode and then realize you don't want it to affect your skill profile, you can click Discard Quiz in the lower right to leave it incomplete.
