We know that sometimes your available time or funds might mean you need to take a short break from your Cloud Academy subscription. With the Take a break option, individuals with monthly accounts can pause your subscription and come back in a month or two.
How Pausing your Subscription Works
When your card is charged for your monthly subscription, you are paid-in-full for the entire following month, and you'll continue to have full access to your Cloud Academy account during that month. When you pause your subscription, you delay the next monthly payment by 30, 60, or 90 days, depending on the option you choose.
You are able to log in to your account during the pause (the time between when your paid subscription ends and your delayed next payment) but you will not be able to complete most of the training in the library.
Why Pausing Is Better than Canceling
If you're planning to return to learning later, you will probably prefer to pause your subscription rather than cancel it. If you cancel your subscription, you can reactivate it later, but the monthly price may have increased while you were gone. If you pause your subscription, your monthly rate is locked in and will not increase while the subscription is paused.
How to Pause your Subscription
Pausing a subscription is available for individual accounts that are billed on a monthly basis. Use these steps to pause your subscription:
- Begin the process of canceling your account subscription.
- Choose the Take a break option.
- Complete the prompts to choose a 30-, 60-, or 90-day delay before your next payment.
