What is the Black Friday promotion?

For Black Friday, we're offering special pricing on new subscriptions. Early birds get the best price from now through November 23, but you can still get a discount through December 10, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. PT

See the Black Friday promo page for discount amounts and to sign up. The discount amount may vary depending on your currency but will be approximately equal to the discount in USD.

Who is eligible for this deal?

The Black Friday promotion is for users of new personal accounts that bill every 1, 2, or 3 years. In addition to brand new users, this includes people with expired subscriptions, people with free accounts, people currently on a free trial, and people with an active account subscription that is currently billing monthly.

• People who start a new personal account subscription can lock in the discounted price by purchasing a subscription that bills every 1, 2, or 3 years.
• Users who already have a free trial can enter the promotional code before the free trial ends. You must set the subscription to bill every 1, 2, or 3 years.
• Users who already have a monthly-billed personal account subscription can change to billing every 1, 2, or 3 years and use the promotional code to lock in the lower price.
• This promotion is NOT for enterprise accounts.

Can I use the promo code if I buy my subscription through the mobile app?

Unfortunately, no. The process to buy a subscription through the mobile app does not support any promotion codes. However, if you purchase your subscription through the web interface, you can take advantage of the Black Friday deal and still use the mobile app to complete your training. 

How long will the promotion last?

Early-bird Black Friday pricing is the best price of the year. Early-bird pricing lasts until 11:59 p.m. PT on November 23, 2023.  After November 23, you can still get a smaller Black Friday discount. Prices go back to normal at 11:59 p.m. PT on December 10, 2023, so don't delay

Will the discount last forever?

The price when you start your subscription or update to a qualified billing frequency will continue to be your annual (or biennial or triennial) subscription price as long as you keep the subscription active.

Note: If you cancel your subscription, you CANNOT get the discounted rate if you resubscribe, so it pays to keep your subscription current!

How do I get the discount if I'm in a free trial?

In your Cloud Academy account:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Change your billing cycle to yearly.
3. Insert the promo code BF35 in the Coupon field.

Important: Make sure to apply the discount code BEFORE your free trial ends to take advantage of the discount.

If I cancel my subscription with the discount applied, will I be able to reactivate the discount in the future?

No. If you want the discount to last forever, you cannot cancel your subscription. If you cancel and reactivate later, you will pay the retail price that’s in effect at that time.
