What Is a Smart Assessment
A smart assessment is a test to evaluate your proficiency with a particular job role skill. This type of test gets to a reliable score by adapting the question difficulty based on your performance on previous questions.
Each smart assessment takes 10-20 minutes to complete and includes about 20 questions. Each smart assessment measures only one job role skill, so you need to take several of them to get a complete picture of your proficiency in a technology.
Tip: Each question on the smart assessment includes an answer choice you can select to indicate you don't know the correct answer yet. The smart assessment does count this answer choice as an incorrect answer. However, we encourage you not to guess on questions you don't know so that you can discover your true proficiency level and start the training that's right for you.
Once you complete a smart assessment, you cannot retake it for 30 days. The waiting period gives you time to complete enough training to make a noticeable different in your score. Because this exam is adaptive, immediately retaking the exam isn't likely to change your score.
