Lab Guide: Introduction to CodeCommit

Welcome to Cloud Academy's Hands-on Lab for Introduction to CodeCommit !

CodeCommit is a powerful tool and having a basic understanding is a must for any developer in AWS. 

Inside this lab, we commonly see new AWS students state that they cannot navigate the Ubuntu Instance. To see the available Ubuntu instance, please check if you are in the correct region, "Oregon." Since you came from the IAM service during the previous step (Creating credentials to access your repository), which uses the "global" region, the region may have changed away from Oregon. This caused by AWS keeping different services in different regions and by some services being global only, such as IAM.

When this happens, just change the region back to Oregon, and you should be able to see the instance in EC2:
