This article discusses integrating Cloud Academy with your Degreed account. This feature is available to enterprise accounts. You must be an admin to access the screen in Cloud Academy where you set up this integration. You also need administrator access to your Degreed account.

Cloud Academy-Degreed Integration
Cloud Academy can integrate with your Degreed instance to bring all your training content together in one place. The integration syncs the following two kinds of information between Cloud Academy and Degreed:
- The entire Cloud Academy registry becomes visible in Degreed, including custom resources you create in Content Engine.
- Usage information about Cloud Academy content completed by learners becomes available in Degreed as well as in Cloud Academy.
If you set up single sign-on (SSO) between the two applications, you learners can go directly to the Cloud Academy content by clicking in Degreed. Without SSO, they must log in to Cloud Academy separately.
Cloud Academy content in Degreed
In the following image, you can see an example of Cloud Academy content appearing in Degreed. The content looks similar to other training content in Degreed.
The names of content types differ slightly between Cloud Academy and Degreed. The following table describes how Cloud Academy content types map to Degreed content types:

How to Set Up Integration with Degreed
Cloud Academy must activate the Degreed integration for your account. To do so, we need API credentials for your Degreed instance. The integration may also benefit from increasing Degreed API limits temporarily to speed up the initial synchronization.
Setting up the integration is a quick process once Cloud Academy has your Degreed authentication information. You might like to test your integration in a staging environment before activating it in production, in which case the testing time is up to you.
To start the process, contact your CSM or contact support@cloudacademy.com.
